Air purifiers are meant to improve indoor air quality safely. A product that overheats or catches fire can put homes, families, and property at serious risk.
On February 9, 2026, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of approximately 191,390 Aroeve MK04 Air Purifiers due to fire and burn hazards.
According to the recall notice, the air purifiers can overheat and ignite. The manufacturer has received at least 37 reports of overheating, including one report of a fire.
The recalled units were sold online through Amazon, Shopify, TEMU, and TikTok Shop between September 2024 and June 2025 for between $80 and $134.

Label located on the bottom of the unit
Consumers are instructed to stop using the air purifier immediately and contact the company for a replacement.
