AT A GLANCE:
Consumers who purchased a Highlife Collection spa (model years 2023–2025) containing hydromassage rotary jets with 6 fins, or purchased the jets as replacement parts.
The hydromassage rotary jets can create a powerful suction force that may entangle a user’s hair, potentially pulling their head underwater.
Hot tubs are meant to provide relaxation and therapeutic relief. A suction force capable of trapping hair underwater poses a serious entanglement and drowning risk.
On February 12, 2026, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of approximately 32,900 Highlife Collection spas due to entanglement and drowning hazards linked to hydromassage rotary jets with six fins.
According to the recall notice, the rotary jets can generate suction strong enough to trap a user’s hair, submerging their head underwater
The recall affects model year 2023, 2024, and 2025 Highlife Collection spas, including the following models:
Grandee
Envoy
Vanguard
Aria
Prodigy
Sovereign
Jetsetter
Jetsetter LX
The recalled jets were also sold separately as replacement parts.
The manufacturer has received at least one report of hair entanglement. No injuries have been officially reported to date.
These spas were sold nationwide through independent pool and spa dealers between October 2022 and September 2025 for between $16,000 and $24,000. Replacement jets were sold for between $18 and $35.
Consumers are instructed to stop using the recalled jets immediately and visit the company’s recall website to determine whether their spa contains the affected parts. If so, the company provides instructions and replacement inserts.
Our investigation is examining whether consumers were placed at unreasonable safety risk and whether additional relief may be available.
If you purchased a Highlife Collection spa or replacement rotary jets, you may qualify to participate.
